Blasta Home BLASTA |
Welcome to BlastaBlasta - or "Blasda" for the purists - translates from Gaelic as "tasty" or "delicious" which, quite simply, is what we're all about. Our aim is to serve imaginatively prepared but unpretentious food, drawing from the best local, seasonal ingredients available, in a relaxed but stylish setting. The service at Blasta is discreetly attentive and the ambience is warm and welcoming.
Blasta is currently open for dinner Tuesday to Saturday from 6pm. We will also be open on Father's Day, 21st June, from 1pm for roast lunches. To avoid disappointment, booking is advised. Our menu changes on the first Tuesday of every month and our current menu can be viewed on our Food page. We will make every effort to accommodate any special dietary needs you tell us about when reserving your table. And don't forget to let us know if you have a special occasion to celebrate. Well-behaved under-12s are welcome to eat evening meals at Blasta between 6pm and 8pm. Although we don't offer a children's menu, we will try to accommodate any special requests within the menu available that evening. We're very easy to find - Blasta is right opposite the Village Hall on Newtonmore's Main Street. Parking is available on-street or in the public car park to the rear of the restaurant (Glen Road). We are also happy to order taxis for your homeward journey.
